Credential Distribution for the P20 for Journalists Begins on November 4

Documents will be delivered to credentialed professionals untill November 6

The Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate inform the credentialed press covering the 10th G20 Parliamentary Speakers´ Summit (P20) that credential pickup will take place on November 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on November 5 and 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., next to the entrance of Annex 2 of the Chamber os Deputies (entry via Via S2).

Individual pickup is allowed upon presentation of identification. A media outlet may send a representative, duly identified by the company, to collect all credentials.

Access to the Event

Press access on the days of the Event will be through Annexes 2 of the Chamber of Deputies and Federal Senate, at the following times:
November 6 (Wednesday): 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
November 7 (Thursday): 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.; 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
November 8 (Friday): 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Connectivity

Press will have several options for accessing the wifi signal: the CD Visitante network, where one must enter a name, phone number, and CPF (for Brazilians); or name and passport number (for foreigners); the P20_Press network, which will be available to all credentialed press, with authentication using the same credentials as the G20 system registration; as well as personal networks, which will not be blocked.

Workspaces

The press will have multiple spaces for covering the P20 Summit: the White (Chapel), the Black and Green Halls, the gallery of the Chamber of Deputies plenary, the Press Committees of the Chamber and Senate, and four additional plenary rooms, two in the Antônio Mariz Wing of the Chamber (Plenaries 1 and 2) and two in the Nilo Coelho Wing of the Senate (Rooms 2 and 6). In these locations, spaces for press conferences and screens broadcasting the P20 Summit meetings will be available. There will also be a press conference room in the Leaders’ College room.

Interviews

In accordance with prior arrangements with the delegations attending the Summit, direct approach of parliamentarians should be avoided. All interview requests must be submitted in advance to the event’s Press Office at: press.p20@cn.leg.br.

General Guidelines

Dining spaces, such as restaurants and snack vending machines will be available in various points of the National Congress Palace.
Dress Code: Men are required to wear a suit and tie. Photographers should wear a dress shirt, tie and professional vest.
There are no restrictions on bags and journalists’ equipment inside the National Congress. However, security screening, including metal detectors for people and X-ray machines for belongings will be in place, along with potential physical inspection.
Credentials are personal and non-transferable; misuse may result in revocation and removal from National Congress premises, with possible civil and criminal liability.
